IS CURRENTLY SEEKING
AN OS&D CLERKOverage, Shortage & Damages Clerk Job Summary: · Locates overages, shortages and damaged freight · Handles many different types of freight to include Hazmat Materials · Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized OS&D area · Responsible for preparing all paperwork and the repackaging of all OS&D freight · Researches and Resolves all OS&D freight issues · Maintains accurate records for reporting all OS&D Freight on a Daily/Weekly basis, to Terminal Management · Assists with answering telephones, provides quality customer service and assists with resolving customer concerns efficiently · Regular attendance is required · This is not an all-inclusive list of job requirements and/or duties and may not contain all mental and physical capabilities necessary to perform the job at all times due to circumstances. Operational, safety and other needs may require the employee to perform any and all other duties as assigned. Employees are expected, and must be able to perform all such duties and tasks Qualifications: · Computer skills, proficient in MS Word and Excel (knowledge of AS/400, Lotus Notes preferred) · Knowledge of LTL industry preferred · Excellent customer service skills; including verbal & written communication skills · Must possess positive interpersonal skills · Must possess strong analytical skills with a good math aptitude · Must be detail oriented with good problem solving skills · Must be able to work in a fast paced environment · Knowledge of handling Hazmat materials or willingness to be trained · Must be able to and comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct · Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 25 lbs · High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience · Responds well to questions.
