ESTES EXPRESS LINES IS SEEKING DIESEL MECHANICS
Job Summary not limited to: · Inspecting, trouble shooting, diagnosing and performing maintenance on equipment · Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documents required by DOT, company and any other Federal, State or Local regulations · Interpret work orders and technical manuals · Repair or replace defective parts, components or systems · Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work meets manufacturer’s specifications and legislated regulations Requirements: · Must know general repairs and PM criteria · Must be available to work all shifts, including nights and weekends · Must be able to use hand tools and test equipment · Must possess own tools · Must be at least 18 years of age · CDL is a plus although not required · Must have a minimum of one-year experience and/or completion of trade school · Physical activities include: lifting, twisting, turning, climbing a ladder, etc. · Must have a valid driver’s license · Must have an acceptable DMV record · Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and background check · Must be an effective communicator Skills and Abilities: · Strength and stamina required to work with heavy equipment and work in award positions · The ability to work alone or as a team · The ability to lift up to 70 lbs. · The ability to keep up with changing technology and updates · Mechanical ability and interest of engines, electronics and precision equipment With Estes Express Lines, you can depend on: Comprehensive Benefits - Estes reserves the right to change, adjust, amend or terminate its benefits at any time.
