ESTES SPECIALIZED, A DIVISION OF ESTES EXPRESS LINES IS SEEKING CLASS A HOME DELIVERY DRIVERS Job Summary: Will operate tractor/trailer in the transportation of freight in accordance with Company, Federal, State and Local laws with regard to run times and DOT regulations. Conducts pre-trip inspections to ensure safe working conditions of the tractor and trailer prior to each trip, checks gauges and visual indicators for malfunctions and conduct inspection of vehicle before and during trips to determine problems that may be occurring. Reports all problems to Fleet Services. Must be familiar with state motor vehicle laws and department of transportation rules and regulations. Requirements: · 21 years of age required per DOT regulations (2 years driving experience preferred) · Class A Commercial Driver’s License with Hazmat endorsement · Flatbed experience preferred · Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs · Ability to push or pull a pallet jack with a minimum load of 70 lbs · Moffett, Princeton or forklift experience preferred · Loading and unloading trailer and securing the load (No Tarping) · On occasion may be required to work up to 14 hours/day and up to 6 days/week. · Stable employment history · Provide exceptional customer service · Flatbed experience preferred · Must be able to provide an acceptable MVR · Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical · Physical activities include: standing, lifting, twisting, turning, climbing a ladder, etc. Comprehensive Benefits –
