ESTES EXPRESS LINES IS SEEKING PARTS CLERKS Estes Express Lines is seeking a Parts Clerk with a minimum of 1-year parts experience in the Fleet Services/Maintenance industry. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to expediting all parts orders in order to minimize downtime of equipment and managing/creating a parts room that meets the daily needs of the shop. The qualified candidate will also be responsible for the accuracy of the inventory dollars and counts.
· Perform parts inventory as scheduled · Order parts as needed · Complete related paperwork and computer entry · Pickup parts from vendors in company vehicle · Maintain accurate parts count · Run requisitions and filling requisitions for the parts room · Key and review all invoices · Key repair orders · Communicate effectively with management, mechanics, vendors and Corporate Fleet Services department · Work in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment · Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management Requirements: · Good computer/keying skills · Good math skills · Good organizational skills · High School diploma or equivalent · Inventory/Parts and/or Trucking experience · Must have a valid driver’s license · Must have an acceptable DMV record · Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check We also prefer you have the following qualifications: · A Minimum of 1 year experience in Inventory/Parts and/or Trucking · Must be familiar with ATA parts system codes (preferred) · Familiar with tractor, trailer and forklift parts · Familiar with warranty and claim process · Familiar with core and core process · Ability to manage bar-coded inventory accurately · Ability to open, and close invoices · Ability to order parts and pick up parts for the shop · Able to work a flexible work schedule, including all shifts · International parts experience preferred · Able to lift heavy objects, a minimum of 70 lbs · Able to operate a forklift · Dependable · Good communication skills · Ability to work with a budget Comprehensive Benefits - Estes reserves the right to change, adjust, amend or terminate its benefits at any time.
