Estes Express Lines is currently seeking a Compensation Analyst for our corporate office
Job Summary:
- Assist in the development & administration of employee salary administration programs
- Advise management on compensation actions for employees
- Review proposed salary actions to ensure conformance with established guidelines and policies
- Participate in salary surveys and analyze results to determine organization’s market relationship
- Write new job descriptions and revise current ones
- Develop recommendations to adjust salary structure in response to changing organizational needs and market values
- Analyze current organizational pay practices and make recommendations for salary changes to ensure equity
- Conduct job analysis to determine appropriate salary level according to compensation guidelines and policy formulated by human resources executive
- Review proposals for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate salary grade assignment
- Develop and implement salary administration guidelines
- Participate in development and administration of performance review system to ensure compliance with salary administration guidelines
- Research special compensation programs or incentive systems to support the organization’s objectives
- Supervise the participation in and conduct of both exempt and nonexempt salary surveys to ensure compensation objectives are achieved
- Regular Attendance is required

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instruction furnished in written ,oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software; Accounting software; Payroll systems; Development software and Human Resource systems, MS Word and Excel
- Demonstrates knowledge of EEO policy-Works with integrity and ethically

- Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals
- Proven history of project completion is required
- Must be able to interact well with others
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting, in a fast paced environment
- Must be mentally and emotionally capable of handling a high stress environment
- Must be able to and comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
- Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 25 lbs
- Responds well to questions. Ability to read and interpret written information and documents such as safety rules, operations/procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and will be subject to a criminal history background check
