Estes Express Lines is currently seeking a Key Account Representative for our corporate office
Job Summary:
- Provide tactical support & customer service along with critical support to an assigned group of National Accounts
- Proactively review data, trace & track shipments for customer base
- Interact with Terminals, Operations, Sales, Information Technology, Systems, Terminal Quality and Pricing to resolve customer’s concerns
- Arrange customer pick-ups with terminals
- Update customer websites with shipment details
- Single point of contact for accounts that require a person to call on an “As Needed” basis
- Update SOP’s as needed
- Investigate service issues, review data and input data into TMS
- Regular attendance is required

Qualifications:
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, data entry skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in an extremely busy environment
- Ability to type 40 wpm
- Experience with CRT, PC, and AS/400 helpful
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Knowledge of transportation industry preferred; customer service or sales background helpful
- Must be detail oriented, professional and proactive while dealing with customers
- Ability to maneuver around the internet and websites preferred
- Must be self directed with the ability to prioritize workload with a high level of attention to detail while working as a part of a team
- Shift flexibility to support seasonal accounts is preferred
- Must be able to and comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
- Must be able to interact well with others
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting, in a fast paced environment
- Must be mentally and emotionally capable of handling a high stress environment
- Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 25 lbs
- High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED), or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
- Responds well to questions. Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and will be subject to a criminal history background check
