Estes Express Lines is currently seeking an AR Relationships Manager for our corporate office
Job Summary:
- Lead two functional teams within the department
- Will be responsible for low and mid-level complexity customers that make up the vast majority of our customer base
- Report to the Director of AR – Relationship Management
- Play a major role in the development of processes, policies, training, culture and direction of the AR team
- Responsible for one or more supervisors and / or team leaders
- Leadership role of actively driving the development of a customer focused culture throughout the AR organization
- Utilize department metrics to evaluate team and individual performance
- Lead and coach team members in the management of customer relationships, focused on removing any barriers that impede the healthy flow of inbound revenue
- Work closely with our internal departments to assist in expediting the resolution of disputed bills and then securing customer commitment for the prompt payment of those bills
- Continuously work to refine processes within the receivables department, improving efficiency and productivity whenever possible
- Recruit, interview and hire talented, customer focused team members
- Regular attendance is required

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in LTL, including a firm grasp of all business areas and technical elements that impact the AR process
- Three plus years in customer facing roles; 5+ years in management or supervisory roles
- Experience delivering training / information to peers, hourly associates and senior management
- Experience developing and implementing department goals and strategies based on broader organizational goals
- Experience coaching and delivering messages related to performance
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, include group presentations and training events
- Strong organizational and multitasking skill set, with an ability to balance completing priorities is a must
- MS Office experience (Word, PowerPoint, with advanced level in Excel preferred
- Understanding of AS400 applications that relate to the AR function preferred
- Unwavering commitment to a strong customer experience
- Ability to adapt well to a fast-paced environment with changing circumstances, direction and strategy
- Intellectual curiosity; must be willing to study and learn whatever is necessary for professional development in this role
- Must be able to and comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
- Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 25 lbs
- Responds well to questions. Ability to read and interpret written information and documents such as safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and will be subject to a criminal history background check
