REGIONAL MANAGER FLEET SERVICES Job Summary: · Will trouble- shoot mechanical and electrical systems, while making decisions to correct problems in a time sensitive and safe manner · Conduct Fleet evaluations to ensure maintenance standards are met · Assist in creating a positive team oriented environment through employee development and motivation · Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the Fleet Services shops through regular inspections and preventative maintenance programs · Ensure shops are adequately staffed and personnel are properly trained · Will motivate, coach and council employees · Will manage multiple district managers, oversee their performance standards while maintaining compliance with all Fleet Service Policies · Will manage the district managers, overseeing their performance and the performance of their shops · Will manage multiple shops ensuring that safe and reliable vehicles are available and meet all operational requirements · Will interpret reports and spreadsheets concerning the shops while developing processes to improve substandard shops and their perspective districts · Must control costs and expenses, manage Fleet budgets and account for P & L data · Will prepare safety documentation required by DOT, company and any other Federal, State or Local authorities · Regular attendance is required · This is not an all-inclusive list of job requirements and/or duties and may not contain all mental and physical capabilities necessary to perform the job at all times due to circumstances. Employees are expected, and must be able to perform all such duties and tasks Qualifications: · Must have minimum of 15 years management experience in the fleet maintenance industry and personnel management · Ability to work independently or in a team setting, in a fast paced environment · Must be mentally and emotionally capable of handling a high stress environment · Must possess strong communication and problem solving skills
· Must possess knowledge of work measurement · Must be an effective communicator with a proven track record displaying the ability to motivate and build a strong team · Must be familiar with tractor parts (International part number scheme), trailer parts, forklift, and Moffett parts and the ability to interpret technical manuals and work orders · Must have experience on IHC trucks, Cummins engines, trailers, Hyster and Moffett forklifts · Must possess a mechanical ability and an interest in all types of machinery, tractors, forklifts, Moffetts and engines · Must be familiar with ATA parts system codes · Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations · Must possess a hands on attitude and a strong work ethic · Must have flexibility in work schedule, available for all shifts and weekends · Must be results oriented and deadline driven · Must be able to lift a minimum of 70 lbs · Must have valid drivers license with clean record · High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience · Must be able to and comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and the Code of Conduct · Responds well to questions. Ability to read, interpret written information and documents such as safety rules, operations/procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines · Must pass pre-employment drug screen and will be subject to a criminal history background check · Travel required · Must be eligible to work in the United States Comprehensive Benefits – Estes reserves the right to change, adjust, amend or terminate its benefits at any time.
