Avis Budget Group Now Hiring Truck Technicians!
JOB SUMMARY
Performs preventative maintenance and completes standard repairs on gasoline and diesel light and medium duty trucks. In addition to maintenance tasks, properly diagnoses and repairs braking systems, air conditioning, basic electrical systems (starting, charging, lighting), engine cooling systems, and steering. Completes most repairs with little to no supervision. Performs more complex repairs under the direct supervision of the shop manager or supervisor. Completes necessary paperwork as required. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or equivalent. Technical school graduate is a plus · Minimum of 3-4 years automotive & diesel truck maintenance experience · ASE Certifications are a plus for technical level REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES · Valid Driver’s License along with a good driving record · Must posses all tools required for truck maintenance and most repairs · For job development and advancement, must be willing to take the ASE certification exams and Budget Truck training courses · Ability to work with and around hazardous materials · Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with co-workers · Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail · Ability to perform day-to-day physical tasks involving moderately demanding work including standing, kneeling, crawling, turning, and pushing or lifting moderately heavy objects. · Ability to work a flexible schedule. · All employees must pass a background check and a drug test To Apply Please use the link below: https://avisbudget.greatjob.net/jobs/EntryServlet?job=S1DAG&media=FLJ Avis Budget Group is an EEO/AA Employer The information listed above is intended to describe the general nature and level of this position.
