Position Summary To repair or overhaul all types of Company automobiles, trucks, and heavy equipment, and to service vehicles as required. Minimum Requirements Requires four years experience as journeyman mechanic repairing automobiles and trucks. Requires valid Class A Commercial Drivers License. Other combinations of education and experience such as: Medium/Heavy Truck ASE Certification, Truck Equipment ASE certification, or other ASE certifications are preferred. Diesel, Hydraulic, Electrical, and Diagnostic certifications and experience will also be considered. Hyrdaulic experience in aerial equipment and fluid power systems certification a plus. Other preferred Knowledge and skills with ANSI A92.2, bucket trucks, digger/derricks, welding, cutting, and DOT inspections will be considered. *Management reserves the right to change work hours based on business needs. This position is considered safety-sensitive under the Department of Transportation regulations 49 CFR Part 40 and may be subject to pre-employment drug and/or alcohol testing as well as other testing and training requirements as mandated by federal law.
