Position Summary:
Collaborate with Operations' Leadership, cross-functional teams, and the Safety & Loss Prevention (LP) team to integrate loss prevention into all locations' strategies, activities, and decision-making processes resulting in the prevention of loss related to property, assets, data, information, and product inventory while maintaining 100% compliance with all agency regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with development and implementation of policies, procedures, performance metrics goals.
- Maintain and provide effective LP training.
- Perform site evaluations - validation of compliance with strategies, policies, procedures.
- Perform risk assessments - determine how to control risk to acceptable levels regarding new locations, business, products, services.
- Identify physical security vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor Loss Prevention performance and ensure/assist with the development of corrective/improvement plans to address deficiencies.
- Assist with the management of physical security infrastructure projects.
- Manage the company's customs compliance program.
- Ensure compliance with import and export requirements for security and protection established by Company policy and procedures for border crossing and port operations.
- Resolve actual or potential security or loss breaches.
- Other projects as assigned by the supervisor.


Qualifications:
Qualifications

Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years loss prevention management experience in the supply chain management industry - includes transportation, warehousing, and inventory control.
- Knowledge of basic security and loss prevention techniques
- Proficiency with product inventory control technology and techniques
- Knowledge of protective security devices and systems; intrusion alarms, closed circuit television systems, and access control systems.
- Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
- Knowledge with US and Canada customs compliance programs (CTPAT, CSA, FAST)
- Effective team building skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (e.g., MS Teams, SharePoint, MS Forms, Power Automate)
- Experience documenting the detailed status of multiple projects using project tracking software (e.g., Smart Sheet, MS Projects)
- Knowledge of WMS and Yard Mgmt. systems
- Flexibility regarding travel - includes some weekends (15%)
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.

Preferred:
- Bachelors Degree; Industrial Security, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field
- Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI)
- Loss Prevention Certified (LPC)
- Loss Prevention Qualified (LPQ)
